Hello everyone! This is the monthly update for the month of April
Here is the list of the news I would like to share with you in dot points:

Cloudbreaker Alliance Core Rulebook V1.02
Version (1.02) of the Core Rulebook pdf file has been distributed through Backerkit.
- Due to popular requests, hyperlinks have been added to the contents pages.
- Various typos and text misalignments on page 32, 37, 132, & 167 have also been corrected.
The first volume of the Cloudbreaker Alliance Digital Extras has been distributed through Backerkit.
This zipped package contains Volume 1 and the following:
- 20 x Types of PC (Discipline) Tokens
- 16 x Types of NPC (Lifeform) Tokens
- 6 x Types of PC (Iconic Character) Tokens
- 11 x Types of Monster Tokens
- 8 x Types of Resource Tokens
- 5 x Item images
- 1 x Map of Cloudbroken Lands
- 3 x Battle Maps for Mission 1 (Chapter 15 of Core Rulebook)
This volume has all the essential digital assets to run your CBA game.
The Cloudbreaker Alliance Digital Extras is divided into 3 separate volumes. The release date for Volume 2 & 3 will be announced in future updates through Kickstarter.
- Volume 2 will contain maps and various location arts.
- Volume 3 will contain videos and other extras.
The relevant materials will need to be released first before each volume, for example, mission 2,3 and 4 will need to be released first so that the maps make sense.
Future Release Schedule
The following is the planned schedule of releases. Due to the uncertain nature of the project, we have not set exact dates for the releases too far ahead:
- April 8 - 5E to CBA conversion chart release.
- April 15 - The Artist collab Class for Channeler Discipline release.
- April - Koi Siren (Blaine Simple) collab Lifeform release.
- April - First tutorial video release.
- May - Collab monsters by Zedrin release.
- May - Additional missions release.

Cloudbreaker Alliance Digital PDF Released to Backers! (Limited Early Release)

Cloudbreaker Alliance - Core Rulebook V1.0 (Backer Release) has been distributed through Backerkit.
(Check your email for the digital download and use the link to download it from the Backerkit website)
This zipped file contains the Cloudbreaker Alliance Core Rulebook, the character sheets of the premade characters, and a blank character sheet.
Cloudbreaker Alliance is the Tabletop Roleplaying Game I had been dreaming about for almost a decade. It is not just a project I wanted to create; it is also a game I had dreamed of playing myself. Today, that dream is fulfilled, thanks to all of you!
Thank you so much for believing in this project and supporting Cloudbreaker Alliance. Without your support and patience, we couldn’t have added the extra polish this game deserves.
Today, I am proud to be able to share this dream with all of you.
Cloudbreaker Alliance will be released to the public in a few days after the early release for backers: March 28, 2024.
I hope everyone will have fun playing this game and share the joy and good time I had in creating it.

Hello everyone. The link above is the survey for the Beta Sample of the Cloudbreaker Alliance pdf. Please take your time to answer the survey to help us improve the final product. If you haven’t downloaded the Cloudbreaker Alliance Core Rules Beta Sample, you can access it through the email sent through Backerkit or download it through your Backerkit account.
Planned release dates:
PDF Release
- March 25, 2024 for all backers.
- March 28, 2024 for public release.
Extended Digital (Video tutorial to come)
- April 1, 2024 for all backers.
- April 4, 2024 for public release.
Video Tutorials
The video tutorials will be released incrementally starting from mid to late April. The completed video series will be available to the purchasers of the Extended Digital Product once the series is completed.
Cloudbreaker Alliance V0.9 Beta Sample Released!

Hello everyone.
Apologies for the lack of update, and thank you for your patience. The Cloudbreaker Alliance V0.9 Beta Sample has just been released and you can download it through Backerkit.
As you read through the beta sample, please keep in mind that this is an unfinished product and it contains plenty of errors.
The following issues are known and they're in the process of being fixed, though we can also use a bit of assistance:
- The manuscript has just been sent for proofreading and the changes have not returned yet. Thus, you will encounter plenty of textual errors including grammatical errors.
- Some pages are missing graphics, but all major art has been included.
- The index section has not been added. It will be added before the official release.
- We may miss some of your names.
- A change log documenting the changes between the playtest version and Beta Sample is not available because there have been too many changes. But a couple of major changes that directly affect gameplay are:
- 1. The name change for Brute’s spirit burst from “Endure” to “Grit”.
- 2. Commander discipline’s Spirit Burst.
A week after this release, a form will be sent to all backers through backerkit to ask for your opinion on the layout and any errors spotted.
The additional missions, mission 2 to 4 will be released as part of the extended digital product.

Cloudbreaker Alliance Lore & Setting Beta Sample Released!

Hello everyone, this is CJ!
I have just sent the Beta Sample of “Chapter 4 - The World of Cloudbreaker Alliance” to all backers through Backerkit. Since this chapter is still in the Beta stage, you will probably discover some errors.
One week after we have released the Beta Sample of the final compiled book, we will send out a questionnaire to everyone, to solicit suggestions and error correction requests. In the meantime, if you want to point out any issues discovered, you can join our discord server and post on the errors and bug fixes channel.
